Hi I am Liz and I am 29 years old and live with my family in Yorkshire. I have been married to Max for 10 years and with him for longer than I can remember we have 2 sons aged 12 and 8 already. I have been struggling to get pregnant for over 7 years now and we have decided to try IVF to add to our family. I know I am lucky to have my 2 boys already but we had them very young and would like to have more children now.

I like to go to the gym, read a good book, spend time with my family and love films. At the moment I am addicted to the last UK Big Brother

In the past I have conceived 4 times and gone through 2 miscarriages one in the middle of my 2 boys and after my youngest. They were very hard times for us all. I suffer from severe endometriosis and now have 1 blocked tube and the only is only partially clear. About 18 months ago I had a laparoscopy and had a lot of the endo removed and my tubes tested. That was my last hope of a natural conception and it didn’t work

It was Max’s idea to do a bolg about the IVF and I would rather look positively to the future rather than dwell on the past. But I guess I need to give some background on our journey to this point
